He was the founder of the Chinese Language Program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, prior to serving as the United Nations
Senior Chinese Teacher (Headquarters, Asia). His specialization includes theology from his study in the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, USA, and Taipei Reformed Theological Seminary, Taiwan, China.
